Our Founding Mission and Vision

Juno Biomedical, Inc originated as a UC Davis spinoff company at its founding in 2014. Juno was founded on a vision that it is possible for modern medicine to both mitigate the symptoms, and treat the root cause, of disease. At Juno Biomedical, we believe every person deserves a high quality of life.

Disease is not always avoidable, no matter how healthy of a life we live. Despite the availability of advanced technologies in our modern world, there remains a barrier in translating technology to healthcare in a safe and effective manner that can aid in healing of disease. At Juno Biomedical, Inc. we have designed a deep brain stimulation (DBS) system for potential use in returning lost motor function after subacute ischemic stroke.

The Team

I am so proud of our team for the hard work that has been put into getting our flagship technology, CELLTech™, to this point in the R&D process. It takes an extraordinary amount of interdisciplinary knowledge and cross-functional teamwork to take a Class III brain implantable this far, especially alongside the teams at the FDA and the clinical staff at our selected clinical site. Our team has, and continues to, excel at reaching our combined goals.
